Pit Riders Read this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the new official SOCCS pitriding Policy. So what is pitriding? Answer = any person riding a motorized atv, dirtbike, or utv that is not a member of the club that is holding the race. But I think I am special in some way and you should make an exception for me right? Answer = we had 500+ spectators at round 1. If we allowed everyone to ride something, we would have a huge mess and a very dangerous environment!!!!! Fact is, if you are not an official club member, you are not allowed to pit ride!!!!! So what will happen to me if I am Caught? Answer = If you are in the parking area, we will give you 1 warning and tell you to take it to your truck and leave it there. 2nd time , you will escorted off the premises with no refunds for entry or race fees! After that you will have a restraining order placed on you and you will not be allowed on the property of any SOCCS tracks for the rest of the season. If you are caught in the woods on a atv or bike and you are not racing and you are not a member, you will be escorted off the premises with no refunds. The only exception for a racer to be in the parking area is to go to sign up. A strict 1st gear idle will be enforced. If you are not abiding by the 1st gear idle policy, the same rules will be applied as if you are pitriding.
